26 FEB, 2014. Our three pioneers at the new Mission in Dawhan, Ethiopia, arrived just over five months ago. Benedicta Boakye-Yiadom SSL, Ijanada Emmanuel SSL and Justina Ihechere SSL have been busy learning new languages and overseeing the construction of the new convent since their arrival.
They had been hoping that the construction of the new convent building would be completed in three months, in time for them to move in by December 2013. Unfortunately the construction is still underway, and they are still unsure when the convent building will be completed. Check out our Flickr album to see progress in the convent’s construction in Dawhan, Ethiopia.
The sisters have also been very busy learning new languages and they are currently learning Tigrinya, and spend two hours in the classroom each day!
