27 JAN, 2016. For some years, the Sisters of St Louis have been helping house bound people regain independence in Oka-Akoko in Ondo State, Nigeria. These people suffer from disabilities arising from accidents, paralysis, very serious bedsores and strokes. While the needs of the clients vary according to their condition, the care the sisters have given them has progressed from medical to environmental care, and good nutrition to self-reliant empowerment. The Ajosepo Committee of St Genevieve's High School Belfast, Ireland, has been the major financier of the project.
