28 SEPT, 2016. Our pioneer sisters in our newest Mission in Dawhan, Ethiopia, are proud to announce the establishment of the Women’s Empowerment Project. This project has been in the planning stages for some time. Earlier this month, however, the first tangible benefits of the project came to fruition, when 22 women embarked on a on a new business venture of raising sheep. The women first underwent training courses in Sheep Management, and Micro Finance and Business skills. They then received a loan of four sheep, and they are expected to pay back the cost of the sheep in cash after 12 months.
