Ten Sisters make final vows in Nigeria Province

nigeria finalprofession 250x25021 DEC, 2016. Congratulations to the 10 sisters who made their final vows in the Nigeria Province in October. They are: Francisca Akinwumi, Immaculata Obanure, Rachael Ojo, Lucia Adenle, Esther Akpa, Eugenia Raymond, Maryann Anaehobi, Anthonia Eneanya, Augusta Ozor, and Veronica Obi.

The occasion was attended by many Bishops and other religious, the wife of the Ondo State Governor, parents and families of the newly professed and Friends and Associates of the Sisters of St Louis. The celebrants were presented to the church by their parents, who danced with their daughters all the way to the altar. The homily was given by Bishop Jude Arogundade, after which each of the 10 sisters read and professed the Evangelical Counsels. A ring - the symbol of their consecration to God as an outward sign of inward grace - was then presented to them by the Bishop.
