27 SEPT, 2017. The very best of luck to Blanaid McCauley SSL, who recently retired from Chaplaincy ministry at the University of Brighton after 17 years of service to the population of 23,800 students and staff.
When recently asked about the highlights of her time as Chaplain at the University, she said, “Working alongside chaplains of other faiths, creating a welcoming community where students and staff of all faiths and none, could explore their personal spiritual journeys, brought tremendous satisfaction and joy to me. Ministering within the wider context of Brighton’s diverse community of culture, race, faith and sexuality, provided both privilege and challenge, and expanded my mind to appreciate and revere the richness of human life and culture.”
