29 NOV, 2017. There was a double celebration of God’s love in the Nigeria Province on November 1, as Isabel Mann SSL celebrated the golden jubilee of the final profession of her vows, and three sisters - Fidelia Taye Amoko, Margaret Anno Dauda and Susan Gertrude Ashia Didam - celebrated the final profession of their vows. The liturgical celebration of the ceremonies, as well as the reception, was held at the Sacred Cathedral, Akure, and was attended by six bishops, as well as numerous priests from different dioceses, sisters from distinctive congregations, Associates and Friends of St Louis, and family and relatives of the hosts.
The highlights of the celebrations included the presentation of the three sisters to the church by their parents for their final profession, the reading of the final vows, the reception of the ring by the sisters, and Sr Isabel’s presentation of a bouquet of flowers to our Blessed Virgin Mary in the company of fellow golden Jubilarians, Sisters Monica Adeya and Dorothy Yayock.
