Happy Birthday to Teresa Walsh SSL, who celebrated her 100th birthday on June 18, in Newmarket, England. Born in Co Kerry in 1915, before birth of the Irish Free State, she entered religious life in Monaghan and was missioned to Yarmouth in 1939, just as World War II was breaking out. She spent most of her life teaching in northern Ireland and in England and is now long retired and living in Kentford Manor Nursing Home, a few miles outside Newmarket.
