The Catholic Church has been celebrating the World Day of the Sick on February 11, since 1992. The Staff of Our Lady’s Catholic Hospital and Atupa Eye Clinic, Iseyin, Nigeria, celebrated this event by visiting the internally displaced people in Kisi, where they gave a health talk, conducted health checks and gave gifts to the children. Among those travelling from the hospital were Augusta Ozor SSL and Theresa Peter SSL from Our Lady’s Catholic Hospital, and Cecilia Olusanya SSL and Ruth Orunpegan SSL from the Atupa Eye Clinic.
