Every year, the AAVE Group (which was co-founded by Margaret Hosty SSL) and the AIDS Pastoral Ministry conduct awareness and prevention programmes at the Traditional Novena of the Eternal Divine Father in Trindade, Goiás, which takes place during the last week of June and early July. It is on the day of the oxen parade (June 29), that information pamphlets and guidance on HIV/AIDS is given to the people at the parade.
