Last August, Clara Azubuike SSL moved from her position as Coordinator of the Sisters of St Louis Community Based Rehabilitation in Akure, Nigeria, to Lagos, where she is now part of the team of sisters in Bakhita St Louis Empowerment Centre, who support survivors of human trafficking, providing accommodation for up to 20 women, counselling, reintegration, skills acquisition, mindset-reset, and opportunities for uniting them with their families. In this article she shares with us her first few days at the centre, her impressions so far and what she has learned about herself.
