Two new clubs – the Girls’ Club and the Environmental Club – were officially launched last month at St Peter’s Primary and Junior High School, Wioso, Ghana, thanks to the support from Misean Cara. The Girls’ Club has been established due to the high dropout rate among girls, to encourage them to stay in the school system longer and empower them on their educational journey. The Environmental Club has been set up in response to the serious destruction of many ecosystems in Ghana, where the school children can learn to understand, appreciate, and care for the environment.
