Saturday April 5, 2025, was a very significant day for the Sisters of St Louis. It marked the official closure of their Motherhouse in Monaghan after 166 years. It was a day of gratitude for what had been, and a day of sadness at having to let go and move towards an unknown future. The weather obliged with sunny skies, ideal for the 60+ sisters who travelled back to the Motherhouse for the celebration.
