The Novitiate is the second stage of formation in religious life and the Novitiate in Akure serves as the centre of formation for the Sisters of Saint Louis in the Nigeria Province. Our novitiate is a vibrant community where young women and sisters embark on their spiritual journey. There are three sisters and six novices in the Novitiate Community in Akure – Eunice Abiriyi SSL is the Novice Directress and Lucia Akinnusoye SSL is her assistant, while Victoria Orifunmishe SSL coordinates the activities of the Community-Based Rehabilitation Centre. The novices are Regina Adah, Geraudine Akoto, Joan Ananaba, Catherine Ayodele, Agatha Igbo and Janet Samila.
