A special Mass was celebrated last month in St Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross, to acknowledge the contribution of the Sisters of St Louis to Carrickmacross since their arrival in 1888, and to pray for Pauline Haughian SSL, Bridín Moloney SSL and Ann Matthews SSL, who were preparing to leave Iona House on October 29 to join their new communities in Dublin. The Mass also paid special tribute to Maureen McShane SSL, who will continue to be a St Louis presence in the parish.
