The Catholics Caring initiative is central to life at St Genevieve’s High School, Belfast, Northern Ireland, and was strongly guided by the leadership and witness of Sr Luca Henry RIP. In this initiative, the whole school comes together each Advent season to create Christmas hampers for families in need in our area.
Catholics Caring is reflected in strong pastoral support, inclusive practices, and high expectations, balanced with understanding and kindness. The school community is committed to ensuring that every pupil is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect, while pupils are encouraged to care for one another, supporting those in need. Through prayer, reflection, and service, St Genevieve’s continues to be a nurturing and faith‑filled community where pupils are supported to grow spiritually, emotionally, and academically.
