St Louis Schools’ Network Climate Change event connects Nigerian and Irish students

30 April, 2026

For the students at St Louis schools in Nigeria, Ireland and Northern Ireland, February 26 was not just a date on the calendar; it was the day the world came knocking on their classroom doors. It was the day that the St Louis Schools’ Network hosted a virtual conference via Zoom, and for nearly three hours, the Nigerian and Irish participants became global citizens connected to a sisterhood of schools stretching from the bustling cities of Nigeria to the serene landscapes of Ireland. We are delighted to share two accounts from this St Louis Schools’ Network event. The first one is written by Louisville Girls High School, Ijebu-Itele student, Angela Nwosu, and the second one is written by Augusta Ozor SSL.
