13 AUG, 2019. Earlier this summer, the Sisters of St Louis in Oku, Ghana, and the people of Oku, were honoured to receive ten students and three teachers from St Louis Grammar School, Ballymena, in Northern Ireland, where they spent six days helping out at the school and clinic and immersing themselves in village life. On the day of arrival they went round the Oku community to visit some of the residents. For the next two days helped out at the school and the clinic, engaging in activities such as planting, painting, and teaching songs and dance. On the Sunday, they joined the whole church community for Eucharistic celebration. It was a visit that brought warmth and life to the entire Oku community.
