Changing the perception of LGBTQIA+ people in Goiânia, Brazil

LGBTQIA26 SEPTEMBER, 2024. For the last year, Margaret Hosty SSL has been part of a group of religious men and women in Goiânia, Brazil, who have embarked on trying to change the general public’s perception and attitudes of LGBTQIA+ people, both in the church and in society at large. They meet at AAVE once a month and recently they organized their first Round Table discussion for both religious and laypeople, which was attended by LGBTQIA+ people, and friends and parents of people who are LGBTQIA+.
