26 SEPTEMBER, 2024. Last month, 13 sisters were exhumed from the Dundalk Convent burial ground and reburied along with our more recently interred sisters, in St Joseph’s Parish Cemetery, Castletown, Dundalk. Ann Mathews SSL undertook the onerous task of  carefully tracing, as far as possible, any remaining relatives of the deceased sisters and notifying them of the event. Approximately 15 relatives attended, happy to renew once more, their memories of their deceased loved ones.
