18 DEC, 2012. On October 12 at the Royal Albert Hall, London, Sharon Treacy Dunne, Founder and Director of the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland, paid tribute to the Sisters of St Louis in Dun Lughaidh, Dundalk, Ireland "who educated me, and where all this began".
29 NOV, 2012. Drumalis in Northern Ireland was the venue for the first-ever International Sisters of St Louis Education Forum, which took place from October 21 to 27, 2012. Participants from all regions - California, England, France, Ghana, Ireland and Nigeria – attended this milestone event.
29 NOV, 2012. Thirty-six years ago three Sisters of St Louis set out for the new mission foundation in Brazil. And, 36 years later, three sisters (again!), including one of the pioneers, are reinitiating the Associate movement of the Sisters of St Louis in Brazil. This is not the first time there have been associates in Brazil. We had associates for at least 10 years until approximately 2005, but it was in a less formal way...
24 OCT, 2012. Unity Day on June 9, 2012, marked the beginning of the Sisters of St Louis Centenary celebrations in England. The sisters gathered for the opening ceremony on the lawn at Newmarket on a cold June morning for a type of “Santiago de Compostela” journey.
24 OCT, 2012. When Janet Makinde SSL from the Provincial Leadership Team arrived in Ewulu on October 2 to assess the flood situation, she could not believe her eyes. The flood that was just gathering a week earlier during her previous visit to the sisters, had turned into a river almost impossible to cross, even with a canoe. Really frightened, she stood and gazed into the sky for a while wondering how she would bring her sisters out of "this mighty water".

It is with great joy that we welcome three newly professed sisters: Anna Adomaa SSL, Achiaa Akoto Baffour SSL and Lucy Ayomah SSL into the St Louis family.The profession took place in the Chapel at St Louis Senior High School, on Saturday, October 13, with Archbishop Gabriel Anokye of the Archdiocese of Kumasi as the principal celebrant.
